Attorney Lee Turner is a highly regarded attorney known throughout the legal community for his outstanding client service and superior litigation skills. As an example of Lee'­s fine work, he received a $31 million dollar personal injury award, the largest single personal injury judgment in the State of Michigan, ever. Lee thrives on accepting a challenge, even taking those cases that may be turned away by other attorneys. Lee handles cases in many areas, including but not limited to all areas of personal injury, many areas of medical malpractice, nursing and doctor negligence, and automobile and motorcycle accidents. He only considers himself successful when he receives the results that his clients deserve.

Lee has earned a very successful track record of representing clients who deserve compensation for their injuries suffered through the negligence or fault of others.

Lee's educational background in Anatomy provides him with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of medical issues underlying malpractice claims, and has helped him build a well-recognized expertise in this area. He received a Bachelor of Science in 1966 from Ohio State University. He continued his education at Ohio State and received his Juris Doctorate with honors in 1969 from Ohio State University College of Law. He moved to Michigan that same year and began his legal career specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation with the firm known formally as Sommers, Schwartz, Silver & Schwartz, now Sommers Schwartz P.C.

In 1972, Lee joined his brother, Donald Turner, and together they created a new firm specializing in receiving the results that their clients deserve: Turner & Turner, P.C. located in Southfield, Michigan.

His participation in professional organizations such as the Michigan Bar Association, the Attorney Grievance Commission, the Michigan Association for Justice, have given him the opportunity to further his legal expertise and to continue to strive for the results that his clients deserve.

For years, Lee has volunteered for COTS (Coalition on Temporary Shelters) which is a homeless shelter in Detroit. He has also served as an officer on the Board of Directors for the Don Bosco Hall, a shelter for troubled youth in Detroit. Currently, Lee is a Board Member of Temple Beth El and the Board of the Brotherhood. He has received the Spirit of Detroit Award for his outstanding achievements and for giving back to the City of Detroit.
